Did you know.......

Onion's are a staple in the natural home remedies group. Onions are a wonderful medicine - especially when used as a warm pack. These packs draw out all kinds of toxins in the body, especially if the person is sick with a cold or flu. Onions are also excellent fighters against bacteria and viruses. To make an onion pack: add a little oil to a pan and warm over medium-low heat. Add 1/2 of a large onion that has been diced. Saute until the onions are translucent. Place in cheese cloth and wrap it up like a little pillow. Once the temperature isn't too hot to burn the skin, but as warm as the person can tolerate, apply this pack to the chest. Cover with a towel and keep on for several hours. You'll be surprised how the onions turn brown!!!
